Hatari EP is an international collaboration between Baba Lou (Kees van Driel, multi-
instrumentalist/producer from Amsterdam) and two amazing Tanzanian vocalists, Agutu and Rose.

In late 2021, Kees moved his studio to Tanzania, to live in the African countryside for a year. He recognized some serious vocal talent amongst the local hospital staff and crafted a four-track EP.
Combining a wide variety of genres, Hatari EP is a recollection of experiences from East Africa told in lyrical melodies and infectious grooves.

Humbling testimonies from the hospital, the abundant wildlife in the outskirts of the Serengeti; Hatari EP draws inspiration from life in rural Africa. But also from the vibrant nightlife in the area and the sheer beauty of the environment.
